6000 households in Rucphen will receive fiber optic from Open Dutch Fiber
Open Dutch Fiber will now also offer superfast internet via fiber optic in Rucphen. In total, 6000 households in Rucphen will soon be able to make use of it. The first households will have access to internet via fiber optic starting from April 2023 with upload and download speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps).
The work has started under the leadership of Open Dutch Fiber in Sint Willebrord and Sprundel. Residents will be informed during the installation of the fiber optic network. The first households in Sint Willebrord and Sprundel will have access to internet via fiber optic from April 2023 onwards.

“Fast internet through reliable fiber optic connections are essential for the Netherlands and necessary for many (future) applications such as remote working and remote care. Open Dutch Fiber is laying an open fiber optic network to provide everyone in the Netherlands access to the best telecom infrastructure”, says Floris van de Broek, CEO of Open Dutch Fiber. “By closely collaborating with municipalities, housing associations, and owners' associations, we are able to realize our projects faster.”
