The Commercial department is crucial for creating and strengthening our market position. This department is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and partners, and plays a crucial role in expanding our network.
The account team focuses on identifying opportunities in the market and managing relationships with our suppliers and partners. They are responsible for offering our fiber optic solutions, continuously striving for growth and expanding our network.
The communication team takes care of a good position of ODF in the market. They ensure that the communication, both internally and externally, is clear and consistent. Thanks to them, our communication campaigns are successful and our visibility is enhanced!
Who are we?
Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) is a leading Dutch fiber optic company that builds and maintains a network in urban and densely populated areas throughout the Netherlands. Our network provides services to over 1.5 million households and businesses, including our main partner, Odido (formerly T-Mobile). We closely collaborate with municipalities, housing corporations, homeowners' associations, residents, and experienced contractors. ODF was established in 2021 as a joint venture between investment fund KKR and Digital Transformation Capital Partners.
The role
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that the agreements between Open Dutch Fiber and Odido are upheld. These agreements have been made at the management level, and it is your task to ensure smooth cooperation between both parties. You make sure that the planning of the installation of fiber optic networks in neighborhoods is well coordinated with Odido's marketing campaigns.
You will report directly to the CCO and play a key role in the transformation of ODF from a network deployment company to a customer-centric network management organization. In addition, you will also support the transition of the commercial department from "Marketing & Sales" to an "Account"-focused organization. This provides a unique opportunity to have strategic influence, with regular interaction with senior management and private equity investors.
What are you going to do?
Coordinate and monitor the agreements made between ODF and Odido, with the aim of ensuring effective and smooth cooperation.
Ensure a close alignment of the network rollout planning with Odido's marketing campaigns, in order to achieve a successful launch of services in neighborhoods.
Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders at various levels, from operational to executive level, and acting as a sparring partner for complex issues.
Resolving operational challenges and conflicting interests that may arise between ODF and Odido.
Responsible for creating reports on the progress of projects, which are presented to the management of ODF and Odido.
Proactively contribute to the commercial growth and optimization of the collaboration between ODF, Odido, and its partners.
Achieving commercial targets and contributing to the value creation agenda of ODF.
Who are you?
HBO/WO level of education, preferably in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with a proven track record in project management, preferably in the telecom or infrastructure sector.
Extensive experience with the deployment of various go-to-market strategies and sales channels within the fixed internet market.
Strong commercial mindset, with excellent negotiation skills and experience in stakeholder management.
You can communicate and negotiate effectively at any level, including at the executive level.
Analytically strong, with the ability to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
Hands-on mentality with a results-oriented attitude, not shying away from challenges in a dynamic environment.
Excellent command of both the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing.

About the role
We are looking for an Operational Analyst to support our Order-to-Bill (O2B) process and special projects within the commercial organization of Open Dutch Fiber. In this role, you will work directly with the Special Projects Manager and the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate closely with various teams (Construction, Marketing, Sales, and external parties such as partners, providers, and internet service providers) to improve operational efficiency, reduce customer churn, and streamline communication in the customer journey.
Key responsibilities
1. Funnel Analysis & Reporting
Monitoring and analyzing the O2B funnel to identify bottlenecks, causes of customer churn, and process issues.
Developing and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and weekly/monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
2. Improvement of operational processes
Collaborating with various teams (Construction, Installation Partners, Customer Service, ISP Partners) to streamline communication and handovers and improve the overall customer journey.
Analyzing and making proposals for quick improvements and long-term solutions to reduce backlogs, scheduling conflicts, and data sharing deficiencies.
3. Data Management & Insights
Conducting root cause analyses on order cancellations, customer churn during migration, and installation delays to formulate improvement recommendations.
4. Project Coordination
Assisting in the execution of pilot programs (e.g., call center surveys to identify reasons for customer churn) and expanding these to other locations as needed.
Coordinating timelines, deliverables, and follow-up actions with internal teams and external stakeholders (such as Odido and other ISPs).
5. Communication & Stakeholder Management
Preparing presentations, status updates, and weekly/bi-weekly reports on funnel performance for senior management and key partners.
Supporting regular meetings with external partners to align priorities, discuss challenges, and share best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in an operational, business analyst, or project coordinator role (experience in telecom, internet services, or other infrastructure sectors is a plus).
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, BI platforms like Power BI or Tableau).
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; able to interpret data and turn insights into process improvements.
Familiarity with process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Operational focus: Comfortable managing daily process flows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing quick solutions.
Stakeholder management: Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and external partners, with clear and solution-oriented communication.
Attention to detail: Skill in data validation and maintaining statistics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Adaptability: Willingness to quickly adapt to new projects or operational challenges.
Strong communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to multidisciplinary teams.
