Eurofiber and Open Dutch Fiber strengthen collaboration

Oct 30, 2025

Maarssen, Bunnik - Eurofiber and Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) proudly announce a further collaboration to better respond to the growing demand for reliable and fast fiber optic connections.

With this new multi-year agreement, parties have made agreements to further unlock the ODF network by being able to use thousands of kilometers of dark fiber optic cable from Eurofiber's backhaul network.

The use of this infrastructure enables ODF to respond faster and in more flexible way to the growing demand for super-fast and secure fiber internet, without having to worry about the reliability and future-proofing of the network.

Both ODF and Eurofiber offer their services through open fiber optic networks. ODF does this mainly on the consumer market through providers, and Eurofiber focuses on the business market for network access. The collaboration between both parties is therefore a logical step to give even more consumers access to fast, reliable, and stable internet.

Joost Steltenpool, COO Open Dutch Fiber adds “For the rollout of our fiber network, reliability is crucial. With Eurofiber as a partner, we are assured of a stable and future-proof digital infrastructure. Their proven track record and focus on quality give us the confidence that together we can provide fast and secure internet. We trust in this strong partnership.”

Paul Naastepad, Managing Director of Eurofiber Netherlands: “Open Dutch Fiber is a key player on the Dutch consumer fiber market. We share the same vision for open fiber networks. With this partnership, we wholeheartedly support ODF's FTTH rollout ambition. We look forward to a successful collaboration!”
