Another 21,000 households in Venlo to be provided with fiber optic.

In Venlo, 21,000 households will have access to superfast internet via fiber optic from Open Dutch Fiber. It is expected that the first households will be able to use internet via fiber optic with speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps) in 2023. Open Dutch Fiber is once again connecting a large area to fiber optic and making a significant contribution to the further digitalization of the Netherlands.

The work will start under the leadership of Open Dutch Fiber in October 2022 in Venlo. The first households have been using fiber optic since 2023.
