Open Dutch Fiber will install fiber optic in Hoorn.
In Hoorn, starting from the end of May, 32,000 addresses will be connected to the fiber optic network of Open Dutch Fiber. It is expected that the first addresses will be able to use internet via fiber optic from August 2023. With this, Open Dutch Fiber is once again connecting a large area to fiber optic and making a significant contribution to the further digitalization of the Netherlands.
Open Dutch Fiber is working on rolling out fiber optic to over 2 million addresses by 2025. This way, more and more households will have access to super-fast internet via a fiber optic connection with upload and download speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second.
