Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) is a leading Dutch fiber optic company that builds and maintains a network. The fiber optic installation is carried out by experienced connection partners. What are you going to do?

As a Service Level Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of our technical locations and for ensuring proper follow-up in case of major network outages. The daily management is outsourced to management parties and contractors, with whom you have daily contact and make decisions together regarding maintenance and repairs, for example. Especially in the event of a major excavation damage, time is of the essence to minimize the impact on the customer as much as possible.

In addition, we have contacts with our customers, the operators (e.g. Odido) who ultimately provide services to consumers. You are also responsible for ensuring that processes and systems are optimally set up for these operators.

The performance of all processes is measured and documented in SLAs with the operators, management parties, and contractors. You monitor whether we are performing well and make adjustments where necessary.

Other tasks within the Network Operations department include change management, problem management, and access management. The management of the availability checker and the order system (Gridsz) also falls under the Network Operations department.

These are your responsibilities:

· You work closely with our NOC parties for the daily management of the technical locations and the network;

· You are responsible for the troubleshooting process;

· You are the first point of escalation for major network outages and inform various stakeholders;

· In case of major disruptions, inform the senior management of ODF and keep them updated;

· You report on the availability of the ODF Network and make improvement proposals where necessary;

· You maintain operational contacts with the operators and ensure that they can serve their customers well in all areas;

· You coordinate closely internally with the Asset Management department.

What are you bringing?

You are a service-oriented person and you can work well with internal and external parties.

· You have at least a bachelor's degree level of education and thinking;

· You have at least 8 years of work experience in the telecommunications sector, and knowledge of the fiber optic world is an advantage.

· You are analytical and have good communication and social skills;

· You are a good negotiator, you know how to achieve your goal;

· Be punctual and not shy away from a little pressure during a major breakdown.
