Who are we?

Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) is a leading Dutch telecom company that provides dark fiber connections to various clients. The current network covers the main urban areas in the Netherlands, with a total of 1.5 million connected households. Our clients, such as Odido, offer their active services through our network. We work closely with municipalities, housing associations, Owners' Associations (VvE's), residents, and experienced contractors. ODF was established in 2021 as a joint venture of the investment fund KKR and Digital Transformation Capital Partners.Could you please provide the text that you would like me to translate into English?

The function

In your role, you are responsible for the development of our key customer (Odido) within the entire network area. You are accountable for revenue growth, customer satisfaction throughout the value chain, and smooth collaboration between teams.

You report directly to the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer), who leads the entire commercial organization, and you play a key role in the transformation of ODF from a network deployment company to a customer-centric network management organization. In addition, you support the transition of the commercial department from a "Marketing & Sales" driven approach to a more "Account" focused structure. This is a unique opportunity to have an impact at a strategic level, with regular interaction with senior management and private equity investors.

What are you going to do?

  • Proactively contribute to the commercial growth and optimization of the collaboration between ODF, Odido, and its partners.

  • Coordinate and monitor the agreements between ODF and Odido and ensure smooth, effective collaboration.

  • Precisely aligning the network deployment planning with Odido's marketing campaigns to achieve successful service launches in neighborhoods.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels - from operational to executive - and acting as a sparring partner in complex issues.

  • Proactively resolving operational bottlenecks and potential conflicts of interest between ODF and Odido.

  • Prepare clear progress reports and present them to the management teams of both ODF and Odido.

  • Providing a proactive contribution to the commercial growth and optimization of the collaboration between ODF, Odido, and their partners.

  • Achieving commercial objectives and actively contributing to the value creation agenda of ODF.

 

Who are you?

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent level of thinking), preferably in a field such as business administration, engineering, or architecture.

  • You have at least 10 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within the telecom or infrastructure industry.

  • You have proven experience with various go-to-market strategies and sales channels in the fixed internet market.

  • You possess a strong commercial drive, have excellent negotiation skills, and extensive experience in stakeholder management.

  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to switch and negotiate at all levels, including senior management.

  • You have a strong analytical ability and are able to translate complex issues into achievable, pragmatic solutions.

  • You have a proactive, hands-on mentality and results-oriented attitude; you do not shy away from challenges in a dynamic environment.

  • You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Work environment and travel requirements

  • The role will mainly be carried out from our office. Travel to our main client is required for projects or meetings with stakeholders.
