Open Dutch Fiber and DELTA Fiber both lay fiber cables, each in their own areas. These remain two separate networks. From early 2027, DELTA will deliver internet, tv and telephony via the Open Dutch Fiber network. Do you have an Open Dutch Fiber connection in one of the starting municipalities? Then you will soon be able to choose DELTA as well.
What is changing?
On September 17, 2026, Open Dutch Fiber and DELTA Fiber announced their collaboration. It is the first time that DELTA delivers services via a network it did not build itself.
Where: over 200,000 addresses in Sittard-Geleen, Roosendaal, Venlo, Woerden and Kerkrade
What: internet, television and landline telephony
When: at the end of 2026 DELTA will announce the subscriptions. Early 2027 the first deliveries will start.

Two networks, each with its own model
DELTA Fiber has its own fiber network. On it, DELTA, Caiway and other brands deliver services.
Open Dutch Fiber builds an open network and does not sell subscriptions itself. Multiple providers offer their services on the same network. You choose the provider that suits you.
The networks are located in different areas. So your address is on one network or the other:
Open Dutch Fiber network: you choose from the providers that collaborate with Open Dutch Fiber. In the five starting municipalities, DELTA will soon be among them.
DELTA Fiber network: you choose from DELTA, Caiway and the other providers on that network.
Which providers can you choose with Open Dutch Fiber?
On the Open Dutch Fiber network you will find, among others, Odido, Simpel and other providers. Each provider determines its own packages, speeds and prices. With DELTA you get an extra choice in five municipalities. Do you live in another Open Dutch Fiber area? Then you cannot choose DELTA for the time being. You keep the same choice of other providers.
