Open Dutch Fiber and Delta Fiber Netherlands

In the Netherlands, various parties install fiber. As a result, you may sometimes receive the question: can I also choose Delta Fiber Netherlands on the Open Dutch Fiber network? The answer is simple: no, because Delta Fiber Netherlands only supplies on its own network. Open Dutch Fiber has a different network and works with other providers. Below you can read how it works and what choices you do have.

Delta Fiber Netherlands has its own fiber network. They install fiber in many villages and rural areas and provide their own services, such as DELTA internet, TV, and telephony. Because Delta Fiber manages its own network, Delta Fiber Netherlands does not deliver on the ODF network.

In short:

●       ODF network → providers that collaborate with ODF

●       Delta Fiber network → DELTA, Caiway and other Delta providers

What does Open Dutch Fiber do?

Open Dutch Fiber installs fiber in more and more cities and towns. We build the network, connect homes, and ensure that the connection remains stable.

The Open Dutch Fiber network is an open network. This means that multiple providers can offer their services on the same network. Residents can therefore choose their own fiber provider and from different packages, speeds, and prices.

Not every fiber network works this way. For example, the DELTA Fiber network is a closed network. This means that only DELTA Fiber itself offers services on that network. You cannot choose from multiple providers there.

By working with an open network, Open Dutch Fiber gives residents more choice and flexibility when signing up for a subscription that suits their usage.
