In Enkhuizen and Stede Broec, over 18,000 addresses will have fiber

In Enkhuizen and Stede Broec, over 18,000 households will have access to superfast internet via fiber optic from Open Dutch Fiber. It is expected that the first households will be able to use internet via fiber optic from June 2023. Open Dutch Fiber is once again connecting a large area to fiber optic and making a significant contribution to the further digitalization of the Netherlands.
The work was started in March 2023 in the neighborhoods of Enkhuizen, Westeinde, Bovenkarspel, Grootebroek, and Lutjebroek under the leadership of Open Dutch Fiber. The residents were informed about this by Open Dutch Fiber.
High-quality and reliable fiber optic connections
"Approximately half of all Dutch people now have access to high-speed internet via fiber optic. Compared to other countries in Europe, we are lagging behind in this aspect.
