Yesterday was a special day: together with Mayor Michiel van Veen and alderman Marjan Vrijsen-de Corte, we signed a cooperation agreement with Geopark Peelhorst and Maasvallei and the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
Soon, the university will place their seismological measuring equipment in one of our PoP locations. Through an unused fiber optic cable in our network 🌐, they will be able to collect data in an innovative way about shifts in the earth's crust - spanning the area of Geopark Peelhorst and Maasvallei.
A great example of how fiber optic infrastructure can also contribute to international scientific research 🔬. Proud of this collaboration and the role we get to play in it.
