Long-term partnership between Circet and Open Dutch Fiber guarantees quality of open fiber network
May 22, 2026
's-Hertogenbosch / Bunnik, 22 May 2026 — Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) and Circet Netherlands are entering into a partnership for the management of the ODF fiber network in Northern Netherlands. With this long-term agreement, ODF safeguards a customer-focused and high-quality service for its clients.
A long-term choice for quality and stability
Our open fiber network is available to 1.5 million households and is already used by eleven service providers. Following the recent announcement about network management in the Southern Netherlands, ODF is now making a deliberate choice for stability and quality in Northern Netherlands as well. Network management will be placed with Circet for an extended period. This decision aligns with our strategy: working with a select number of strong partners to focus on quality, reliability and the further professionalisation of our services to internet service providers.
Integrated network management in Northern Netherlands
Under the agreement, Circet will be responsible for managing the passive fiber network, including Point of Presence (PoP) locations in Northern Netherlands, for the next five years. In addition, Circet will handle the installation of home connections at high-rise locations. This integrated approach creates a single cohesive management process, contributing to predictable performance, efficient handling of work and stable network quality.

This lays a solid foundation for the continued rollout and operation of open fiber infrastructure across the Netherlands. Explore all service providers active on our network.
