Open Dutch Fiber strengthens leadership team with new COO
Open Dutch Fiber (ODF) is strengthening its management team with the appointment of Joost Steltenpool as Chief Operating Officer (COO). With this expansion, Open Dutch Fiber enters the next phase of its growth, putting residents even more at the center of its strategy while accelerating its position as a leading open fiber network in the Netherlands. Earlier this year, Aschwin Hollander joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Koen Cluistra as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), both supporting this new phase of development.
Joost Steltenpool brings extensive experience in the telecom sector, gained at KPN and Orange, with strong expertise in operations, infrastructure, and network development. His arrival marks an important step in the growth and professionalization of Open Dutch Fiber, with a strong focus on connecting residents directly to the open network.
Steltenpool: “The demand for stable and future-proof digital infrastructure grows every day. I look forward to working with the Open Dutch Fiber team and our partners to further roll out our high-quality network. In doing so, we contribute to ODF’s mission: offering more choice, sharper prices, and future-proof internet solutions for consumers in urban areas.”
Aschwin Hollander joined the company earlier this summer to strengthen the management team as CFO, focusing on further professionalizing the company’s financial policy and strategy. He brings solid financial expertise from previous roles at Stork and Dieseko. Koen Cluistra, who joined ODF last month and has a background at KPN and VodafoneZiggo, will lead the company’s commercial strategy as CCO, focusing on growth, customer satisfaction, and strengthening the partner network.
With this appointment, Open Dutch Fiber underscores its ambition not only to expand a high-quality fiber network but also to play a central role in residents’ lives by providing fast and easy access to future-proof internet.
